1. Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. Individual contests may set their own age rules.
• Provide accurate information (name, mobile number, city and, where required, payout details) and keep it up to date. One account per person.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account. Keep your password confidential. After 5 failed login attempts an account is locked for 15 minutes to protect it.
• We may suspend or close accounts that give false information, impersonate someone, or break these Terms.

2. Contests and registration

• Each contest page states its category, entry fee, registration dates, contest date, capacity, rules and prizes. Those contest-specific rules form part of these Terms.
• Registration is open only between the published registration dates and while spots remain. Spots are allotted in the order payments are submitted.
• We may reject an application that does not meet a contest's rules.

3. Entry fees and payment verification

• Entry fees are paid by scanning the UPI QR code shown on the payment page. Pay the exact amount shown, then upload a clear screenshot of the successful payment (and, ideally, the UTR/transaction reference number).
• Submitting the screenshot reserves your spot. Our team then checks the screenshot and UTR against the payment actually received. You can record your performance video only after an admin has verified your payment. You will be notified in the app (and by push notification or email, if enabled) once it is approved.
• If a payment cannot be verified (for example the amount is wrong, the payment was not received, or the screenshot is unclear), the application is rejected with a reason and you may pay again.
• Submitting a fake, edited or someone else's payment screenshot is fraud. It leads to immediate disqualification and account closure, and may be reported to the authorities.
• We never ask for your UPI PIN, card details, OTP or passwords. Payments are made only through your own UPI app to the QR code shown on this site.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Performance videos

• Performances are recorded live in your browser using your device camera — uploading pre-recorded or edited files is not allowed. Each video can be up to 2 minutes long, unless the contest says otherwise. You may re-record until the contest date; only your latest video is kept.
• The performance must be your own (or your registered team's) original performance. You are responsible for having the rights to any music, script or other material you use.
• Videos must not contain nudity or sexual content, hate speech, violence, harassment, illegal activity, dangerous stunts, or personal information about others. We may remove any video that breaks these rules and disqualify the entry.
• You keep ownership of your video. By submitting it, you give TurnOn Talent a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store it, show it to judges, and display it publicly on the site (for example in the Gallery, Reels, contest and winners pages) and in promotion of TurnOn Talent and its contests. You can ask us to remove your video from public display after the contest ends.

5. Judging and results

• Entries are judged by the judges appointed for each contest, using the criteria stated on the contest page. Likes, dislikes and comments from other users are for engagement only and do not decide results unless a contest explicitly says so.
• Results are published on the Winners page and participants are notified. The judges' decision is final, except in the case of an obvious error, which we will correct.
• We may disqualify an entry at any stage — including after results are announced — if it breaks these Terms or the contest rules.

6. Prizes

• Prizes are as listed on the contest page. Prize money is transferred to the payout details (UPI ID or bank account) saved in the winner's profile, normally within 30 days of the results being announced.
• Winners are responsible for providing correct payout details. We are not responsible for delays or loss caused by incorrect details. We may ask for identity verification before paying a prize.
• Prizes are subject to applicable taxes. Where required by law (for example under Section 194B of the Income-tax Act, 1961), tax is deducted at source before payment.
• Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged, except where we decide otherwise.

7. Community rules

• Be respectful in comments, questions and chat. No abuse, bullying, spam, hate speech, sexual content, threats, or sharing other people's personal information.
• Do not try to manipulate reactions or results (for example using multiple accounts or bots), interfere with the service, or access areas you are not authorised to use.
• We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

8. Changes, postponement and cancellation

We may change a contest's schedule or format, postpone it, or cancel it if needed (for example due to low participation, technical problems or events outside our control). We will tell registered participants in the app. Refunds for cancelled contests are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

9. Intellectual property

The TurnOn Talent name, logo, website design and content (other than content submitted by users) belong to TurnOn Talent and may not be copied or used without our written permission.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

• The service is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and secure but cannot guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, for example during internet, device or payment-network problems.
• To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to a contest is limited to the entry fee you paid for that contest. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
• Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable law that cannot be excluded.

11. Closing your account

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@turnontalent.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. Records we must keep by law (such as payment records) are retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will notify you in the app. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern quickly. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
