Got a talent that isn't dance, singing, fashion or drama? This is your stage! Play any instrument, do mimicry, beatbox, magic tricks, stand-up comedy, poetry, speed painting, fitness or sports tricks — any safe talent is welcome. Record it at home in the app and our judges will pick the top 3 winners.
Rules & Guidelines
1. Solo entries. Any talent is welcome: playing an instrument, mimicry, beatboxing, magic, stand-up comedy, poetry or shayari, speed painting or drawing, yoga, fitness or sports tricks, and more. 2. Record live in the TurnOn Talent app in one continuous take of up to 5 minutes. No editing, filters, dubbing or pre-recorded audio. 3. Keep your face, your hands and your instrument or props clearly in the frame: phone sideways (landscape) at chest height, 1–2 metres away, in a bright, quiet room. 4. Instrument players play live; a soft backing track is allowed. Mimicry artists, say who or what you are imitating at the start. 5. Keep it clean: no offensive, hateful or political content, and no copyrighted recordings played as your performance. 6. Safety first: no fire, knives, dangerous stunts or animals put at risk. Unsafe entries will be disqualified. 7. Submit your video before the contest date shown above. You can record again until then; only your latest video is judged. 8. Judged on skill, originality and entertainment value. The top 3 win cash prizes. The judges' decision is final.
How to record your video
- Frame the shot so the judges can clearly see your talent — your hands for instruments or magic, your full body for acts.
- If your act has sound, keep the phone close enough to record it clearly.
- Keep it safe: no fire, weapons or dangerous stunts.
- If it helps, say in one line what you are going to perform before you start.
Checklist for every video
- Record in a bright place — face a window or a lamp. Don’t stand with a light or window behind you.
- Keep the phone steady on a stand, tripod or a stack of books instead of holding it.
- Pick a quiet place: switch off the fan, TV and music, and tell your family you’re recording.
- Use a plain, tidy background so the judges focus on you.
- Charge your phone and use Wi-Fi if you can — a 5-minute video is about 60 MB to upload.
- Record live in the app in one continuous take of up to 5 minutes. No editing, filters or old videos.
- Watch the preview before you submit. You can record again until the contest date — only your latest video counts.
